Prop clearances with lower unit and trim tab must be checked before use. Boating conditions vary, so it is important to understand that propeller suitability must be tested in a safe manner upon installation. Wide open throttle RPM, with boat on the water in forward gear under normal loading conditions, should fall within the recommended range specified by the engine manufacturer.
