RUBEX PRO L4 (4¾in Gearcase)

Description

The Pro Series has additional polishing and blade thinning to create sharper blades that will cut through the water better and raise rpms to gain more top speed. The longer barrel improves performance and decreases cavitation by allowing air and water created from the blades to easily flow behind the propeller and decrease drag. With the Pro Series adjustable vents, you can fine tune the performance and decrease planing time. The camber, or arch of the blade is more aggressive on the Pro Series which allows it to push back more water and reach higher speeds.

All of this combined means there will be consistency in RPM when running on a multi-engine setup, and in most applications the Pro Series propeller will deliver higher top-end speed than a Standard Finish propeller.

Every RUBEX stainless steel or aluminum boat propeller has a rubber interchangeable hub system. It is designed to eliminate chatter and vibration that competitive hub systems are prone to. Being rubber, the RUBEX hub has no plastics to deteriorate. It can deflect 10% for softer shifting and to reduce propshaft shock when the propeller strikes a submerged object. The RUBEX hub will not spin in the propeller.

Each RUBEX Hub Kit comes with the hardware needed to install the propeller on the propshaft. Unlike competitive hubs, the prop nut does not require periodic re-torquing on a RUBEX propeller system.
